This is my first hypertext essay project! It is a (linear) creative nonfiction essay I wrote about algorithms and embodied memory, with supplementary visuals.

I recommend viewing it in full screen (using the arrows icon in the bottom right of the narrative) to take all the excess visual noise off your screen.

Please also note that this piece works best on a computer (it uses mouse hover color changes to differentiate between hyperlinks that are immediately next to one another - an effect which you lose if you don't have an arrow).

To navigate through the essay: click the (green) hyperlinks, or the forward/back arrows that appear next to the text.

This project was primarily an experiment into the medium (teaching myself to use Twine, and reminding myself how to use HTML) - my intent is for future essays to have a less linear, more choose-your-own-adventure unraveling.
